| Good job everyone! We made it through the first comp. of the year, oh yesss. Haha. We got good responses from the judges, and some things that we can improve on, which is cool. I know our score will go higher with visuals and cleaner runs and stuff.
Well, our comp. day was pretty productive...
We all woke up early and got to school (at 5 am...some later than others.)
Hit the rode at 5:30, and drove to El Camino HS in Oceanside.
Got there and we were the first ones; set our drums up and ate food.
Got our drums tuned/cleaned.
Went to watch other performers play their songs.
Then, back to put our drums on and get ready to go on at 11:39.
Before we got on, we shook off those nerves and then marched into place.
Played a great show, and marched off to anxiously wait for the awards ceremony...
Waited for the scores, watched other schools salutes (ours was definatly the best one =P)
and finally took home 4th with a score of 79.0 (which was pretty darn close to our goal of 80.0)
All in all, we did our best, and now we can just practice and do better. | | |

No practice today because Finals are next week and everyone has a lot of homework. Decided to update a bit. So, I'm still waiting for that layout from Vanessa...haha. Longgg time since then. If she says she's too buisy, I guess I'll attempt to make one. Haha. Febuary is coming closer and closer...which brings us our first DAC as the new Line. Yay. Febuary 25...mark the calandars. Yay. Haha. This month; Marilou's birthday. wOOp wOOp. January 28. Also the day of the Team Building Seminar, which I hope will be as fun as it sounds. Yup. Good job to all of us for accomplishing out task (Transition). Yup. Haha. Well...I don't know what else to write now.

Drumline news wise...I don't think there's any... Six Flags trip on Saturday, so that should be fun. I'll have pix for that too hopefully...

| well lets see if anything thing happening with the award winning CIHS drumline.well lets see..
pismo beach competition [11/12/05] its was too awesome .band was alright.but then r competition. we got in the line ready to march in and i get ready and go down the line and ask if everyone is ready.they all say..yeah. so lets do it! it was such a great feeling.messed up at parts here and there. i guess we felt to confident that we did great.and thought we were gonna place.but theres always next time.fun times on the bus u guys.haha
had a movie night..oops *day.HAHA watched charlie and the chocolate factory and butterfly effect.haha scary shit happened while watching the movie.HAHA drumline is awesome! haha
drumline took pictures with santa at school.haha we were soo huge.HAHA .and santa was like OHHH YEAH!!haha? whatta freak.
we got our final comp music in and in out possesion.YEAH! i love the sound of it but i hope it sounds great while we play it.haha! yeah yeah! monday were gonna start on it. well as for the other 2 songs. sundance and beyond hte stars.its been going great.ken is helping us all the way. hope we win again.loved it!!
